Justice for JonBenet

RIP
JonBenét Patricia Ramsey
August 6, 1990 – December 25, 1996

JonBenet was killed at just 6 years of age. A beautiful child from an affluent family, her death attracted much media attention, which focused mainly on the Ramsey's. There were accusations that her older 11 year old brother Burke had killed her in jealousy; JonBenet was very successful on the pageant circuit and this activity required a lot of attention and time with their mother.

However, I don't believe her brother killed her.

John Ramsey, her father, said: "I told the police, 'Okay, investigate us, but for heaven's sakes, don't stop with us.' And of course they did, and that was the frustrating part." Very frustrating, and in fact frustrating is an understatement. I don't understand how, with the technology that they have nowdays, JonBenet's killer has not been found. Her mother Patsy went to her grave without recieving justice for her daughter. I truly believe that if she and John had committed the murder they would have been found out by now...but it's been 14 years and nothing. I can't imagine how devastating that is for her family.
When John Karr came forward claiming he was with JonBenet when she died I really hoped that her family would recieve the justice they deserved....but it all came to nothing.
Reports of tests done to match Karr's DNA to that found at the crime scene have never been released. I think that they hold the clue; maybe the results were not conclusive enough but still point the finger at Karr? Maybe they couldn't charge him because they hadn't gathered enough evidence and didn't want to risk Double Jeopardy?
The whole crime baffles me.

And it is sad to think that it was a gorgeous little girl who lost her life for no apparent reason that day, and never got to see her 6th Christmas.

Rest in Peace JonBenet xxx
