She was clearly the best, the fastest and finally got the result that proved that – for keeps this time. After everything that she has been through at this Commonwealth Games there was no doubt I don’t think, in any Australian’s mind, that she would come through on top. She put the heartache and frustration behind her and steeled her focus onto her next event. She used her experience as motivation to come away from Delhi
On another note, the Nigerian girl that ran 2nd to Sally in her ill-fated 100 meter sprint (who ended up first after the Pommy protest) has tested positive to a banned substance.
Of course she did. Look at her!
